Roundabout Extends BAD JEWS Again Through 12/29; DINNER WITH FRIENDS Opening Pushed to 2/13

Due to demand, Bad Jews, the best comedy of the season has extended a second time! Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Joshua Harmon's play Bad Jews opened to widespread critical acclaim off-Broadway and the limited engagement will play an extra week through Sunday, December 29, 2013.
Because of the extension of Bad Jews, Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Donald Margulies Pulitzer Prize winning play DINNER WITH FRIENDS will begin and open one week later. Performances will begin on January 17, 2014 and opening night is February 13, 2014 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This is a limited engagement through April 13, 2014.
BAD JEWS is directed by Daniel Aukin and features Tracee Chimo, Philip Ettinger, Molly Ranson and Michael Zegen.
Bad Jews officially opened on October 3, 2013 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). The limited engagement has been extended through December 22, 2013.
The creative team includes Lauren Helpern (Sets), Mark Barton (Lights), Dane Laffrey (Costumes), Shane Rettig (Sound).
Bad Jews is a comedy about the holy and the holier-than-thou. Daphna Feygenbaum (Chimo) is a Real Jew-just ask the Israeli boyfriend she met on Birthright. So when her cousin Liam (Zegen) brings home his shiksa girlfriend Melody (Ranson) and declares ownership of their grandfather's Chai necklace, it sparks a viciously hilarious brawl over family, faith and legacy.
Bad Jews was first performed at the inaugural Roundabout Underground Reading Series in February 2012. The play was chosen to be the seventh Roundabout Underground production where the world premiere opened to critical acclaim on October 30, 2012. The sold out run was extended two weeks and played its final performance in the Black Box on December 30, 2012.

Bad Jews plays Tuesday through Saturday evening at 7:30PM with Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00PM.
