Roulette Kids to Present Interactive Performance Workshop, 10/19

Roulette Kids will present Glank, an interactive performance and instrument building workshop at Roulette, 509 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn (2/3/N/Q/D/B/R Atlantic/Pacific on October 19, 1-2pm. Tickets are $5, www.roulette.org.

Come join composer and instrument builder Paul Rudolph and his performance art group Glank, as they offer a fun and interactive concert utilizing multi-media elements and unique percussion inventions made from recycled materials such as tuned saw blades, LP tanks, motorcycle gears, artillery shells, brake drums, air vents, and more! In this 1-hour event, kids and families will also get the chance to build their own "green" instruments out of recycled plastic and join in for a fun-filled jam session!

Roulette's educational programming is designed to create dynamic events and workshops that give youth and families the chance to interact with innovative, professional composers, choreographers, and musicians of a variety of genres to foster a new generation of artists and creative minds.
