Rosie O'Donnell Kicks Off Kids' Night on Broadway at Madame Tussauds Feb. 3

Rosie O'Donnell, the 13-time Emmy Award-winning comedian, television talk show host, author, film, television and stage actress, will kick off Kids' Night on Broadway "Fan Festival," which affords young people the opportunity to experience the magic of live theatre and to participate in special activities hosted by the cast and crew of participating Broadway shows, on Tuesday, February 3rd at 2:45 p.m. at Madame Tussauds New York, 234 West 42nd St. (b/w 7th & 8th Aves.), Manhattan. 

From 3 - 6 p.m. at Madame Tussauds, children and their families participating in Kids' Night on Broadway will be able to tour the attraction for free and enjoy a number of unique theatre activities, including special theatrical makeup stations, Broadway dance lessons, karaoke and more. A number of Broadway stars will also be on hand to sign autographs. As part of the special event, various figures at Madame Tussauds New York will don the Autism Speaks puzzle piece pin in support of Kids Night on Broadway's salute to Autism Speaks.

15 shows are participating in Kids' Night on Broadway in February, including The 39 Steps, Altar Boyz, The American Plan, Avenue Q, Billy Elliot The Musical, Chicago, Disney's The Little Mermaid, In the Heights, The Lion King, Mamma Mia!, Mary Poppins, The Phantom of the Opera, Shrek The Musical, Stomp and Wicked. (Show participation subject to change.) Kids' Night on Broadway is now a monthly event; the February 2009 Kids' Night events will be held on February 3 and 4th.
