TimesTalks Downtown, presented by Cadillac, is proud to host a conversation between award-winning actors Rose Byrne and Chris O'Dowd, stars of the Sundance sensation "Juliet, Naked," the film's director Jesse Peretz, and veteran New York Times contributor Logan Hill on August 15.
In this adaptation of
Nick Hornby's novel, Byrne plays Annie, who has an unlikely transatlantic romance with her boyfriend Duncan's musical obsession, the once revered, now faded singer-songwriter Tucker Crowe, played by
Ethan Hawke. The trio will riff on the film's themes of screwball love and indie rock obsession.
This TimesTalks event will take place on August 15 at Cadillac House and will be live streamed on
TimesTalks.com and the
TimesTalks YouTube channel starting at 8PM EST. Select media passes are available. If interested, please contact Ali Rigo (
ali@culturalcounsel.com) to discuss coverage opportunities.
