Ronin Gallery presents an exhibition of woodblock prints illustrating the various flowers of Japan. Exquisitely printed, softly colored and sensitively rendered these realistic works are deeply rooted in Japanese aesthetic traditions and appreciation of nature.
All the prints are from the albums Flowers of the Four Seasons that were printed in 1907 from works by the renown master Sakai Hoitsu, and Suzuki Kiitsu and Nakano Kimei.
