On July 12th, 6-7pm - International Goodwill Cultural Ambassador/performing artist Ronald Rand will be joined by legendary film star Brian Cox, stage and screen actress Nicole Ansari, one of America's greatest sculptors Carolyn D. Palmer, singer extraordinaire Julie Budd, Encompass New Opera Theatre artistic director Nancy Rhodes, Broadway and film director Michael Pressman, historian Louise Hirschfeld, and legendary portrait painter Everett Raymond Kinstler for an exciting panel discussion about creativity in film, theater, music and art at Barnes & Noble-Union Square, 33 East 17th Street, NYC.

Author Ronald Rand, celebrated U.S. Goodwill Cultural Ambassador, has performed and taught for over two decades on five continents, in twenty-three countries and twenty states, including two critically-acclaimed runs Off-Broadway in his celebrated solo play LET IT BE ART! as Harold Clurman, the "elder statesman of the American Theatre." Mr. Rand is the author of the best-selling book "Acting Teachers of America," and the Founder and Publisher of "The Soul of the American Actor." He is the first U.S. State Department Fulbright Specialist to teach at the University of Malaya's Cultural Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and at the University of Sarajevo's Academy of Dramatic Arts in Bosnia & Herzegovina for six weeks. Mr. Rand has appeared in over two hundred films and TV shows including opposite Christopher Plummer in A Marriage: O'Keefe and Stieglitz on American Playhouse, Homeless with Yoko Ono, and Quiz Show opposite Ralph Fiennes, directed by Robert Redford. A prolific playwright, painter, and poet, Mr. Rand's works include a new opera, IBSEN with German composer, Harmut von Lieres, about Henrik Ibsen's last days, and the play The Group Theatre! soon to be a major motion picture.
