Ron Raines will play debonair Frenchman Emile de Becque in Casa Mañana's upcoming staging of
South Pacific, running at the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas from August 15th through 20th.

"set in an island paradise during World War II, two parallel love affairs
are threatened by prejudice and war.
A spunky Navy nurse
falls in love with an older Frenchman, while an American lieutenant is
love struck by a Polynesian girl who speaks only French. The two
men embark on a dangerous mission behind enemy lines from which only
one will return."
The production, which will be directed by Matt Lenz, with choreography by Michele Lynch, will also feature Gina Biancardi (Nellie Forbush),
Nicholas Rodriguez (Lt. Joseph Cable),
