Rock-N-Roll Debauchery Launches Indiegogo Campaign

Creative collective Rock-N-Roll Debauchery have kicked off a new Indiegogo campaign to raise funds for upcoming shows utilizing their unique blend of theatre, rock, glamour and attitude, featuring familiar theatre faces such as founder and executive producer Angel Reed.

The official description of Rock-N-Roll Debauchery is as follows: "In 2013, Rock - N - Roll Debauchery (or #RnRDebauchery for short) began rocking audiences at The Cutting Room NYC. Incorporating classic and contemporary rock music, with Broadway-caliber vocalists, host and dancers, as well as integrating lights sound and band, #RnRDebauchery has begun to lay its foundation in the interactive theater market and community. This tantalizing theater rock experience has begun its initial workshop and performances at The Cutting Room, one of New York's most exciting nightclub and music venues, to house capacity (200). Having filled the venue both in April and August, 2013, and with the upcoming 'Nightmare' Edition on October 26, 2013, proof is already being generated as to the size, scope and future development capabilities of this production. Each performance of #RnRDebauchery does not necessarily tell a story in the same scope/concept as a standard musical. Instead, it takes the audience on a journey through music, movement, ultimately allowing the audience to create their own story in their mind and explore what is being presented individually and together. With the openness for the audience to participate and be a part of the show, the interactive elements (still in a structuredformat) bring each performance outside the "fourth wall" and directly to each person that experiences what is being presented.In an ever-growing community of interactive theater arts opportunities, (The Great Comet, The Orion Experience, Sleep No More, Here Lies Love, Fuerza Bruta, etc.) #RnRDebauchery is bringing a new and fresh approach to this type of dynamic experience, catering to a vast number of audience member types."

Funds are set to go to the following: "Funds raised from this campaign will go directly towards the production cost's of RNRD. Those cost's include paying our cast and crew; five dancers, three band members, two lead singers, a host, lighting, sound, wardrobe, camera crew, or 17 people in total! Additional expenses come from rehearsal space, promotional and marketing fees, wardrobe budget, and misc fees like parking for the camera crew and all of their equipment or last minute props needed for the show! All of this equals the most exciting and bright future for RNRD and it's audience!"
