Robyn Hurder has taken to social media to share that she will be missing some upcoming performances of Chicago due to a hamstring injury. She is expected to return on August 6.

"I don’t mark. It’s 150% or nothing. I don’t have a dimmer. The switch is either on or off. Unfortunately, it will be off for the next two weeks as I tend to my hamstring," she writes. "For those who know this role, that right gam does all the work and I pushed her too far. What can I say, I’m only human."

Hurder will continue in the role of “Velma Kelly” through Sunday, September 15, 2024 at the Ambassador Theatre, a run that was extended just last month. She previously appeared in the ensemble of Chicago as Mona and covered the role of Roxie Hart.
