Prospect Theater Company presents its annual gala, 2013's Spring Soirée, in the Harbor View Room at Battery Gardens, a beautiful and unique waterside location nestled at the southernmost corner of Battery Park. This special one-night only event will be held on Monday, May 6 from 6pm - 10:30pm, with an 8pm concert performance, to feature performances by Broadway friends as well as Prospect stars! Guests will be treated to a sneak peek of songs from upcoming 2013 - 2014 Prospect productions, as well as encore performances from previous Prospect shows. The evening's line up of writers includes work by Sam Carner and Derek Gregor, Marisa Michelson and Joshua H. Cohen, Peter Mills, and Ryan Scott Oliver, among others.

Currently scheduled to appear are: Tony Award nominee Rob McClure, Joshua Boone, Alison Cimmet, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Julia Murney, Peter Saide, Margo Seibert, Hannah Jane McMurray, Scott Wakefield, with Margot Bassett, Maggie Brothers, Troy Burton, Raphael Sacks, Hana Slevin, Marrick Smith and Hansel Tan. Other Prospect alumni performers joining the bill include David Andrew Anderson, Jennifer Blood, Robby Sharpe, Lucy Sorensen, Anita Vasan and Simone Zamore.
Prospect Theater Company is one of America's leading producers of new musical theater. Since 2000, the company has fully produced 18 new musicals in New York City, in addition to mounting productions of new plays and classic works, and supporting numerous developmental opportunities for emerging musical theater writers. Prospect was founded in 1998 by five graduates of Princeton University in order to allow a diverse group of emerging theater professionals to work together in pursuit of artistic excellence and innovation. The company membership now includes a network of almost 1,000 affiliated artists.
