Rob Haze and New Yorker Cartoonists Present Rejected New Yorker Cartoons, a Special Secret Guest, and NYC Trivia on Downtown Variety Image

Nat Towsen's Downtown Variety Hour is back for its 63rd show at UCB Theatre East Village Monday, September 3 at 7:30 PM with the an all-star comedy lineup! Host Nat Towsen (VICE, Nickelodeon) combines the disappearing, eclectic lower Manhattan culture in which he grew up (around the corner from the theatre, in fact) with interviews, informative presentations, and the best of the NYC comedy scene. The show features native luminaries as well as a few welcome New York transplants.

This month's edition of Downtown Variety features comedy by Rob Haze (The Tonight Show, The Book of Ye Podcast) and never-before-seen cartoons by New Yorker cartoonists Ellis Rosen & Hilary Campbell! A special SECRET guest (and longtime neighborhood fixture--who could it be??) will also be dropping in. As usual, there will be NYC Trivia, where audience members can win free pizza and comics from sponsors Two Boots and Forbidden Planet.

Nat Towsen's Downtown Variety Hour takes place at 7:30 PM on Monday, September 3, at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre East Village, 153 East 3rd Street, Manhattan, NY 10009.

Admission costs $9 and patrons of all age are welcome (those 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult). Tickets will be available in advance at http://bit.ly/NTDVH63
