The Riverside Park Conservancy, a non-profit organization which raises half of the budget for Riverside Park, a 6 mile public park on Manhattan's West Side waterfront, will hold its spring event on June 5, 2018.
Wendy Whelan, the former principal dancer with the New York City Ballet, will emcee the event that will present the Robert M. Morgenthau Citizenship Award to trustee David Goldstick for his unwavering commitment to the restoration and preservation of the Warsaw Ghetto Memorial, and the park area between 79th to 84th Streets. Goldstick is known to many in the New York City real estate world as the "conversion king," for his success in executing coop and condominium conversions.
The Conservancy will also introduce its new President & CEO, Dan Garodnick, who until recently represented the East Side of Manhattan in the New York City Council.
