The worlds of Latin music and Broadway will unite for "An Evening of Latin Rhythms" to benefit BC/EFA at B.B. King Blues Club and Grill (237 W. 42nd St.) on November 20.

Broadway legend Chita Rivera (West Side Story, Chicago, Kiss of the Spider Woman), as well as Daphne Rubin-Vega (Les Miserables, Rent), Rosie Perez (Reckless, films such as Do the Right Thing), Raúl Esparza (Company, Taboo) and many more, will share the stage with a live Latin band.

The evening's music will be orchestrated and conducted by Grammy Award-winner Ray Santos, will recreate a night at the historical Palladium during its heyday in the 1950s. "Latin Rhythms' director and choreographer, Richard Amaro, promises to create a night filled with sizzling dance numbers as well as hot music," according to BC/EFA notes.

"Latin Rhythms is about building community: Latinos helping Latinos, as some of the entertainment industry's finest Hispanic performers come out to support their own. BC/EFA distributes funds year-round from events like Latin Rhythms to AIDS service organizations across the country combating AIDS in Hispanic communities, such as Hispanic AIDS Forum in Manhattan, La Familia Unida AIDS Outreach Project in the Bronx, Casa Betsaida in Brooklyn, Project VIDA in Chicago, International AIDS Empowerment in El Paso, and Bill's Kitchen and Centro de Interrencion e Intergracion Paso a Paso in Puerto Rico, among others."

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is the nation's largest industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization. Since its founding in 1988 the organization has distributed over $100 million for services for people with AIDS, HIV or HIV-related illnesses.

Tickets range from $50 to $500.  Visit www.broadwaycares.org for tickets and more information.
