Rita Gardner, the original Louisa in The Fantasticks joins the line-up of Broadway veterans performing in the concert entitled "They Were You"; a benefit for The Artist's Crossing. Ms. Gardner was most recently seen on Broadway in The Wedding Singer, originating the role of Rosie. She joins the previously announced Tony Award winning author of The Fantasticks, Tom Jones, as well as, Yolande Bavan (Bernarda Alba, Bombay Dreams), Judith Blazer (LoveMusik, Titanic) Sherry Boone (Marie Christine, Ragtime), Darius DeHaas (Marie Christine, Rent), Malcolm Gets (Amour, A New Brain), Ann Harada (Avenue Q, Les Miserables), Tony Award winner George S. Irving (Me and My Girl, Irene), Jose Llana (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Flower Drum Song), Daniel Reichard (Jersey Boys, NYCO's Candide) and Cabaret and Broadway legend Julie Wilson (Legs Diamond, The Pajama Game). The concert is at 7pm on Tuesday, May 1 3, 2008 at Barrow Street Theatre, 27 Barrow Street, NYC.

The company has conducted workshops in Dayton, Ohio and New York City, produced a reading of a new play, THE DELI and has worked with
Mary Mitchell Campbell's company, ASTEP, as well as IMPACT Theatre Company. This summer the company plans to host a variety of Master Classes/Seminars as well as a College Preparation Weekend Intensive in New York City. Proceeds from this evening will help fund upcoming master classes, intensives and performances.
