Ripley, Gallagher Jr., Keenan-Bolger, and Perez Hilton Guest on 'The Battery's Down' Finale

The season finale of the showbiz-themed web series "The Battery's Down," which chronicles the life of a young performer in New York City, will feature Alice Ripley (Next to Normal, Side Show), John Gallagher, Jr. (Spring Awakening, Rabbit Hole), Celia Keenan-Bolger (Spelling Bee, Saved), Tyler Maynard (The Little Mermaid, Altar Boyz), Deidre Goodwin (A Chorus Line, 30 Rock), Susan Blackwell (title of show), Ana Nogueira (Perez Hilton Saves The Universe), and more. The episode also features a special appearance by famed gossip blogger Perez Hilton.

Jake Wilson, a University of Michigan graduate, plays himself in the original series consisting of 20-minute episodes that debut the first of each month.

Directed and written by Wilson, the latest episode, entitled "The Bronx Is Up," will premiere October 1st at 12:01 AM.

Making return appearances on the finale are Carolee Carmello (Mamma Mia, Parade), Matthew Morrison (South Pacific, The Light In The Piazza), Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent, Les Miserables), Mary Testa (Xanadu, See What I Wanna See), Jackie Hoffman (Xanadu, Hairspray), Julie Halston (Sex and the CIty), Michael Arden (The Times They Are A'Changin, Bare), and Todd Buonopane (Spelling Bee).

Series regulars Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Spelling Bee, Seussical), Cortney Wolfson (Les Miserables, Legally Blonde), Dani Spieler (Legally Blonde), Vanessa Ray (Spelling Bee), Nina Sturtz, Benj Pasek, Garen McRoberts and Adam Wachter will once again join Wilson for the finale.

Also coming in October, fans can expect the Season One Soundtrack available for purchase on iTunes. The complete first season will also be made available on DVD, including special bonus features and commentary.
