According to the New York Times, The Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey circus will skip New York City for its 141st edition of the circus, because of upcoming renovations at Madison Square Garden

Instead, the tour, entitled The Greatest Show on Earth, Fully Charged! will visit Newark's Prudential Center on February 23-27.  Additionally, the circus will visit the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.

The Ringling Brothers Circus was a circus founded in the United States in 1884 by five of the seven Ringling Brothers: Albert, August, Otto, Alfred T., Charles,  John, and Henry. In 1907 it acquired the Barnum & Bailey Circus, merging them in 1919 to become Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus, promoted as The Greatest Show on Earth.
