Ring of Fire will be featured on VH1's "Top 20 Video Countdown" this week (first broadcast: Friday, March 17th at 6:00-8:00PM). Stars Lari White and Jarrod Emick will discuss their experience performing Johnny Cash's famous songs onstage. Please check cable listings for channel information.

Ring of Fire opened on Sunday, March 12th, 2006 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street).

"From the heart of the songs of Johnny Cash comes a show about love and faith, struggle and success, rowdiness and redemption. A company of fourteen multi-talented performers takes you into the world Johnny Cash created in his songs," state press notes.

Ring of Fire features 38 of music legend Johnny Cash's songs such as "Country Boy," "A Thing Called Love," "Five Feet High and Rising," "Daddy Sang Bass," "Ring of Fire," "I Walk the Line," "I've Been Everywhere," "The Man in Black," and his final hit, "Hurt."

Ring of Fire was created by Tony Award-winner Richard Maltby, Jr. and conceived by William Meade. Directed by Richard Maltby, Jr., Ring of Fire features musical direction by Jeff Lisenby and choreography by Lisa Shriver.

The cast includes Jeb Brown, Jason Edwards, Tony Award-winner Emick, Beth Malone, Cass Morgan, two-time Grammy-Award winner White, David M. Lutken, Randy Redd, Eric Anthony, Laurie Canaan, Dan Immel, Ron Krasinski, Jeff Lisenby, Brent Moyer.
