Christine O'Leary's protégés will perform their funny stand-up on Sunday, April 12, at The Ridgefield Playhouse at 10 a.m. These courageous newbie comedians will demonstrate what they learned during their eight-week Comedy Stand-Up Workshop, the wildly popular class taught by professional comedian Christine O'Leary this past winter. Before the show, bagels and cream cheese will be complimentary in the lobby.
There she goes again! Teacher and coach Christine O'Leary, an award-winning comedian, social worker, project manager and social media editor, will be hosting this comedy show which puts her students in the spotlight as they get real-world stage experience, treating the audience to some funny stuff. As for Ms. O'Leary, her off-the-cuff interactions and improv are the forte of her comedy, and storytelling is her crafted skill.
Why should people come out for this show? "These hysterical newborn comics had more guts than you did eight weeks ago when they signed up! Comedy is a way to tell the truth," commented Ms. O'Leary.
