As part of Dixon Place HOT! Festival, KeiTriK Productions will present And/or, four dark comedies (and one live music video) written by Stan Richardson and directed by Ben Rimalower. And/or will run Thursdays, August 2, 10 and 17 at 8pm and Saturdays, August 5, 12 and 19 at 10pm at Dixon Place in the Bowery.

"A homage to Ionesco, Anderson or the Emergency is set in the dead of night at an ER where heartbreak is treated like any other life-threatening injury. Naturally is a Schnitzler-esque dialogue between participants in a nascent romance about the most humane way to leave their current lovers. Another Brief Encounter, based on the 1945 Lean-Coward film of (almost) the same name, is a tragicomic look at the uses of fantasy, set during Gay Pride in contemporary Chelsea. Finally, I'll Be Seeing You, shows an aging artist who endeavors to recreate lost love, and his subject who wishes to immortalize his own fading youth," state press notes.

The cast will feature Harris Doran (Hair, Joy), Megan Reinking (Lestat, Dracula), Jim Bray (It's Karate Kid, The Musical), Caleb Damschroder, Nick Dothee, and Matt Steiner.

Richardson is a playwright and actor from St. Louis, Missouri living in New York City for the past 11 years. His plays include wHormone, Columbus, Another Brief Encounter, Mr. T. & Sympathy and The 52nd Annual Davenports Clan Yearly Family X-mas Spectacular (www.davenportxmas.com). The Children, written in collaboration with composer Hal Goldberg, will be presented in the New York Musical Theatre Festival this September (thechildrenthewebsite.com). Current projects include Ma Vie En Rosewood (also with Hal Goldberg) and Used (with composer Lance Horne). Readings and workshop productions: Second Stage, E.S.T., Ars Nova, Here Arts Center.

Rimalower directed and produced the critically acclaimed New York premiere of John Fisher's Joy and its Off-Broadway run at the Actors' Playhouse (Out Magazine "Top Ten Theatre 2005" and HX nomination "Best Musical"). Other directing credits include Snoopy! The Musical (Symphony Space, starring Sutton Foster), Lindsey Alley's Look Ma... No Ears (Laurie Beechman Theatre), Sodom The Musical (Kraine Theatre), John Hill: Skinny Corpse (Duplex), Natalie Joy Johnson with Our Lady J (Joe's Pub, Cutting Room, Arts Nova), Lance Horne's How Love Goes (Joe's Pub, Dominion, Fire Island Pines) and The Alleged Adventures Of Blenderman (Ten Minute Musicals) as well as staged readings for Second Stage and the York Theatre Company.

"For the 15th consecutive year, Dixon Place is proud to present HOT! The NYCCelebration of Queer Culture. The festival that features lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender artists takes over the famous LES living room for eight weeks from June 29th to August 26th!
