DANCERS OVER 40 HONOREES:

Fred Curt - You name the dance movie, and Fred was in it! The California resident danced in My Sister Eileen, Meet Me After the Show, Bye Bye Birdie, Guys and Dolls, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, State Fair, Damn Yankees, Gypsy, Mame, Hello Dolly, and Paint Your Wagon. On TV he was on the shows of Jackie Gleason, Andy Williams, Bob Hope, Ed Sullivan, and the Academy Awards. His Broadway shows include Call Me Madam and Mr. Bixby.

Harvey Evans - over 22 Broadway shows, tours, TV and movies to his credit. West Side Story was Harvey's first big break. He names the original Follies as one of his most memorable Broadway shows, and the TV special Dames at Sea with Ann Margaret and Ann Miller as another one of his faves. Harvey was the last dancer to duet with Gwen Verson on "Who's got the pain," on her last tour of Damn Yankees in 1974.

Stuart Hodes - His remarkable career ranges from the Martha Graham Dance Company to Broadway's Paint Your Wagon and Kismet. Stuart can also be seen swimming with Esther Williams in one of her extravaganzas! He keeps active with his broadwaygypsy.com website, keeping a record of the history, legacy and lives of the dance community - Broadway, Modern and Ballet.

Richard Korthaze - his first Broadway show was the 1951 revival of Pal Joey. Dick went on to a decades-long career, including dancing in the original casts of Pippin, Chicago, and Dancin', as well as Lincoln Center's Anything Goes in 1987.

Ken Urmston - From New Girl in Town in the 1950's to a super-long run in the original Evita, Ken never stopped working during his long career on Broadway - over 30 years of trodding the boards. He has appeared on many of DO40's panels, and in their last dance concert, he made a dancing appearance.
