Elegies, Baby and
It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman will comprise Reprise! Broadway's Best's 2006-2007 "Marvelous Musical Mondays" season in Los Angeles. All staged concerts play UCLA's Freud Playhouse.

Elegies features songs by the Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist of
Falsettos and
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. David Lee will direct.
Kevin Chamberlin, currently on Broadway in
Chicago, will direct the 1983 musical
Baby on February 7th, 2007. With a score by
Richard Maltby Jr. and
David Shire--featuring songs such as "The Story Goes On" and "I Chose Right"-
-Baby concerns three couples considering adding a third person to their lives. Baby features a book by Sybille Pearson. The show was nominated for seven 1984 Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Featured Actress in a Musical (for
Liz Callaway).
The 1966 musical
It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman, following one of comic books' most famous heroes and his romance with Lois Lane, will fly to the Freud Playhouse stage on May 14th; Stuart Ross will direct.
...Superman features music by
Charles Strouse, lyrics by Lee Adams (their score includes the title song, "You've Got Possibilities" and "You're the Woman for the Man (Who Has Everything)) and a book by David Newman and Robert Benton.
No casting has been announced.
Reprise! will present My One and Only, Sunday in the Park with George and No Strings as part of its regular series of staged concert productions this season.
