'Rent' Stars Launch HK Angels Live! Monthly BC/EFA Cabaret

Crystal Monee Hall and Moeisha McGill of Broadway's Rent are proud to announce the launch of "HK Angels Live!" a monthly chic cabaret lounge evening benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) held the last Thursday of each month at New York City's HK Lounge (9th Avenue at 39th Street). 

The event will officially launch on Thursday evening August 30 with cocktails starting at 9PM and live performances by Adam Pascal (Rent), Merle Dandridge (Rent, Tarzan), Crystal Monee Hall (Rent), Moeisha McGill (Rent), Marcus Paul James (Rent) start at midnight.

"'HK Angels Live!' was conceived as a monthly event by Rent cast members Hall and McGill as a fun night of smokin'-hot live singing where Hall, McGill and their friends sing your favorite pop, rock and R&B songs with a few standards thrown in," describe press notes, "Audience appeals will be made throughout the evening with donation buckets passed through the crowds."
