1. Pittsburgh, PA: Editor Dylan Shaffer reviews DAMN YANKEES at Pittsburgh CLO. He says, "It's hard not to succumb to The Devil, Mr. Applegate, in this show. Playing the role, John Bolton is comical and mesmerizing with his singing, talking, and stage presence - a rare triple play. It makes me wonder if for his audition, Mr. Bolton was simply asked to laugh in a maniacal manner because he does a devilishly delightful job." Read more here.

2. Long Island, NY: Editor Melissa Giordano reviews Bay Street's THE LAST NIGHT OF BALLYHOO. She says, "Adolph is superbly portrayed by John Hickok (Broadway: Aida, Parade, et. al.). He owns a company called the Dixie Bedding Company and is a kind business man. Adolph loves both his nieces, but is more of a father figure to college student Sunny, portrayed by Amanda Kristin Nichols. 4. Austin, TX: Editor Lynn Beaver reviews A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM at The Bard. She says, "It never fails to entertain me and I love the directorial creativity with each production I see. Director Lindsay McKenna has done an excellent job with the 1920's theme, the side show elements for the Rude Mechanicals are brilliant and her costume design is equal parts stunning and perfectly silly. Standouts include Levi Gore as Bottom, his bombastic Everyman is inspired and he is fearless in his performance. The troupe of Mechanicals are over the top, silly fun, exactly as they should be." 5. New Orleans, Louisiana: Editor Heidi Scheuermann reviews HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING at Rivertown. She says, "Bobby Kelly, who is relatively new to the New Orleans theatre scene, was absolutely captivating as HOW TO SUCCEED's leading man J. Pierrepont Finch (affectionally called "Ponty"). His purposefully awkward movements, killer vocals, and winning smile helped to sell his character just swimmingly. I hope to see more from this young man in the future!" Read more here.

6. Atlanta, GA: Editor Maggie Harney reviews CHARLOTTE'S WEB at Serenbe Playhouse. She says, "A highlight was the performance's interactive nature. Charlotte teaches the audience a short chorus of "oohs" to join in as she prepares to sing her song and spin her web into miraculous words describing Wilbur. The acoustic music sung throughout added a unique, musical storytelling quality and playfulness." Read more here.

7. Portland, OR: Editor Krista Garver reviews WEST SIDE STORY at Broadway Rose. She says, "Let's start with Mia Pinero, who plays Maria. It won't take more than three seconds for you to understand why Tony falls in love with her. And as soon as she starts to sing, you'll be completely done for. She has one of the best voices I've heard on a Portland stage. And that's saying a lot -- we have a lot of great singers. Kayla Dixon as Anita is just as enchanting. This is probably my favorite role in the play, not least because she gets one of the show's best songs." Read more here.

He says, " With that ever present mischievous little twinkle in his eye and impish grin you know that anything can and will come out of his mouth but no matter how raw or racy the topic, with that Scottish brogue it all feels OK. She says, "Among the 21 actors, narrator Bill Nighy matches Hare's occasionally sardonic, white-hot delivery, Anton Lesser is a chilling Wolfowitz, Corey Johnson a bullish Cheney, Adjoa Andoh makes Condoleeza Rice a crafty, silkily-spoken bully, Nicholas Woodeson's Rumsfeld is a gleeful opportunist, and Simon Paisley Day brings some levity with an Inspector Clouseau-esque Dominique de Villepin." 10. San Francisco Editor Linda Hodges reviews BEAUTY AND THE BEAST at the Orpheum (playing thru July 10th). She says, "Sam Hartley is absolutely superb as the hot-tempered and touchy beast who is surprised and displeased to find first an old man, Maurice (the addled inventor is played by Thomas Mothershed) and then his beautiful daughter, Belle (played poetically by Brooke Quintana) inside his enchanted castle."
