Regina Taylor and David Pittu to Read Cecilia Copeland's TALATRICS for New York Women in Film & Television's New Works Lab

Regina Taylor (I'll Fly Away, The Unit) and David Pittu (House of Cards, The Spanish Prisoner) will read Cecilia Copeland's TALATRICS, Directed by Amir Arison (NBC's The Blacklist) for New York Women in Film & Television's New Works Lab.

TALATRICS, set in outer space in the year 5515, tells the story of Monica Thorn on her first day at the college for gifted students, where she must learn to harness her gift while navigating classmates, professors, spies, family and the Prophecy that tore apart their world, in order to save it.

The Cast also includes Jacqueline Antaramian (Madame Secretary, Dr. Chivago), Nicole Pursell (The Ring Thing, That's Not Us), Aaron Costa Ganis (Jessica Jones, Lazy Eye), Betsy Beutler (Law & Order SVU, Blindspot), Stephen Dexter (Billions, Our Lady of 121st street) & Charles Everett (NY Madness).

The private industry reading, part of New York Women In Film and TV's New Works Lab annual presentation, will be held on September 25th in Soho.
