Redmayne Joins Tatum & Kunis In JUPITER ASCENDING

LES MISERABLES breakout star Eddie Redmayne joins the exceedingly high profile cast of the new Wachowski Brothers film JUPITER ASCENDING, which will also feature Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis and Sean Bean.

A Summer 2014 tentpole release date has also just been set by Warner Brothers for the highly-anticipated film from the MATRIX directing duo.

The plot for the film is described by MTV as such: "JUPITER ASCENDING will star Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum as citizens in a distantly futuristic world. Life on Earth as we know it is a thing of the past, and the world has evolved far beyond the complexity of humans. As a type of sci-fi Snow White, Kunis will play a human targeted for assassination by the Queen of the Universe, and Tatum takes on the responsibility of protecting her."

No word yet on what Tony Award-winner Redmayne's role will be in the SNOW WHITE-themed sci-fi film.

Andy and Lana Wachowski plan to begin shooting JUPITER ASCENDING later this year. No further information has been released at this early stage of production.
