Reckless Theatre Presents THE ORIGINAL CAST, Fridays at 8pm

Every Friday evening at 8PM, THE ORIGINAL CAST, a team of professionally trained actor-improvisers, will create an entirely new hour long drama in the style of a famed playwright. For the month of October, they present an original improvised play in the style of American playwright Arthur Miller. Each hour long production is inspired by the suggestion of a title and setting from the audience. Every all-new contribution to the canon of Great American Drama is completely different and never to be seen again! THE ORIGINAL CAST performs at the Reckless Theatre, founded and directed by Christian Capozzoli, ranked one of top five improv Comedy Clubs in NYC by TimeOut New York.

The company of THE ORIGINAL CAST includes Samantha Evans, Jack Gallagher, Thomas Kelley, Anne Veal, Steve Ward, and PatRick Williams. The cast is directed by Anders Fors.

Anders Fors is a Swedish improviser who has been teaching improv in over 10 different countries on 4 continents. He has held workshops and performed at several international festivals of all kinds of styles, recently in Amsterdam, Holland and Wurzburg, Germany. He is known as one of the most prolific performers and teachers in Sweden where he has worked as the Artistic Director for the Gothenburg Improv Theatre, one of the leading improv theatres in Scandinavia, and as a teacher at the Academy of Music and Drama at the top-ranked University of Gothenburg. He teaches and performs everything between long form, short form, comedy, drama, abstract, storytelling, genre work and musical.

Christian Capozzoli is an American director, author, and instructor whose improv methods are taught the world over. He is the founder and artistic director of Reckless Theatre in New York City. Capozzoli holds a Masters in Literature and Education from Harvard University. He tours and travels bringing his techniques to countries, festivals, schools and corporations, sharing his approach and helping to put these rewarding principles into practice. His work and writing has received rave reviews from both the New York Times and Post. He can be seen at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre with his House Team, BUCKY. He guests regularly as a monologist on the storytelling show NIGHTS of OUR LIVES, performs with TAKE IT PERSONAL, and tours with his critically acclaimed show 4TRACK. Capozzoli has been featured on The Colbert Report, HBO's GIRLS, and Amazon's Red Oaks. His Aerodynamics of Yes: The Improviser's Manual provides readers with the essential tools they need to put Capozzoli's technique and method into use to unlock imagination, celebration, and creative power.
