After a year-long sold out run of Hold On To Your Butts (named a "Critic's Pick" and one of the "Ten Best Comedy Shows of 2014" by Time Out New York), The PIT is proud to announce the return of acclaimed theatrical company Recent Cutbacks with FLY, YOU FOOLS, another LIVE shot-for-shot remake. Three actors and a foley artist band together (in fellowship) to bring you a parody of the first chapter in the most epic fantasy trilogy of all time!

"I'm thrilled to continue developing new and exciting work at the intersection of improv, sketch, and traditional theater," says PIT Artistic Director Kevin Laibson.

Part spoof, part tribute, this highly theatrical parody is intensely physical, imaginative, and silly, using only rudimentary props and costumes to recreate iconic moments from the film. Under an hour!

Previews will be at The Peoples Improv Theater (Striker Stage) beginning Monday, March 21, 2016 at 9:30pm, and Performances will run beginning on April 1, 2016 (April Fools' Day) through Friday, April 29 at 8:00pm. Tickets are $15 for previews and $20 for general admission. Tickets are available at thepit-nyc.com and at the door. The Peoples Improv Theater is located at 123 E 24th St in New York, NY.
