Rebecca Faulkenberry, Christina Sajous to Join Cast of SPIDER-MAN in November!

Producers Michael Cohl and Jeremiah J. Harris announced today that Rebecca Faulkenberry (Rock of Ages) and Christina Sajous (Baby It's You, American Idiot) will be joining the cast of SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, in the roles of "Mary Jane Watson" and "Arachne," respectively. Jennifer Damiano, who currently plays the role of Mary Jane, will play her final performance on November 6, while T.V. Carpio, the show's current Arachne, will play her final show on. November 13. Reeve Carney and Patrick Page will continue on in their roles as "Peter Parker/Spider-Man" and "Norman Osborn/Green Goblin," respectively.

SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark has been seen by over 500,000 audience members from around the world. It features direction by Philip William McKinley (The Boy From Oz), original direction by Tony® Award-winner Julie Taymor (The Lion King, Across The Universe, Frida), music and lyrics by 22-time Grammy® Award-winners Bono and The Edge, and book co-written by Taymor, Glen Berger (Underneath The Lintel) and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Fantastic Four and Spider-Man comics, "Big Love").

Inspired by nearly 50 years of Marvel comic books, SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark follows the story of teenager Peter Parker, whose unremarkable life is turned upside-down when he's bitten by a genetically altered spider and wakes up the next morning clinging to his bedroom ceiling. This bullied science-geek suddenly endowed with incredible powers soon learns, however, that with great power comes great responsibility as villains put both his physical strength and strength of character to the test.

Tickets for SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark are priced from $69.50 - $149.50, and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or by calling (877) 250-2929. Tickets are also available at the Foxwoods Theatre box office (213 West 42nd Street), which is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Tickets are now on sale through April 29, 2012.

SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark now plays the following performance schedule: Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m., Saturday at 2:00 p.m., and Sunday at 3:00 p.m.

Rebecca Faulkenberry (Mary Jane Watson) recently made her Broadway debut in Rock of Ages coming straight from the show's national tour, reprising her role as Sherrie. West End credits include High School Musical and High School Musical 2, Aunt Dan and Lemon. Other stage credits include The Shape of Things, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Royal Family, Slow Dance With a Hot Pickup, Smoke on the Mountain. TV/Film: "Doctors" (BBC1).

Christina Sajous (Arachne) is honored to be joining the most fearless and talented cast of Spider-Man! Original Broadway Cast credits include: Baby It's You (Shirley Owens) and Green Day's American Idiot (The Extraordinary Girl). Off-B'way: King Lear (The Classical Theatre of Harlem). Regional: American Idiot (Berkeley Repertory Theatre), The Who's Tommy (Arkansas Repertory Theatre), Aida (ArtPark). Tour: Rent (national/Japan). TV: She appeared on "The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards" (CBS) as a featured soloist of Green Day's hit "21 Guns," and has also recurred on "One Life to Live"(ABC).
