The single "They Know We're Coming" was recorded and mastered with the intention of having a lush, full sound that could be reproduced well in a live setting with our three piece band. Thick hard hitting drum patterns, melodic bass lines, memorable vocal melodies and infectious guitar riffs, were key to developing the single and the full length album. "They Know We're Coming" speaks of the hypnotic state of mind a human being endures and is consumed by, while premeditating a terrible act against humanity. Raynaud’s Phenomenon is an Alternative Rock band from Brooklyn, New York formed in 2011. Originally, the band formed with the intentions of being a four piece band. After an exhaustive and unsuccessful search for a lead singer, the band turned to within for a solution. They decided to become a three piece band, with Walter Eagan, the band’s guitar player, becoming the lead singer.Walter Eagan’s sweet, lush and infectious vocal melodies compliment his dark and melodic guitar playing style that caters to the miserable. This unintentional turn of events led the band to create songs filled with musicality not seen in many contemporary three piece bands.Their sound evolved to incorporate a variety of different styles and influences characterized by the powerful drumming style of John Devane. John Devane's belief that there should be no dead space in a song is evident in his studio work and live performances. His drum patterns are reminiscent of tidal waves, if they could make the sound of floor toms. With his thick and hard-hitting approach to playing, he cements the other instrumentation in the band eloquently. He accomplishes this by filling the musical space of their songs in an intelligent and efficient manner, with a style distinctively all his own.
