A fine jewellery exhibit will be held by Rasvihar at Hotel Taj Krishna, on 28 and 29 September 2012 between 10am and 8pm. Rasvihar was recently seen as associate sponsor of L'Oréal Paris Femina Women Awards 2012, which honoured 19 women of extraordinary talent in India. The jewellery showcased by celebrities at the event red carpet will be available for sale.
Rasvihar is back in the city with a fresh range of jewellery - the New Classics, for women who celebrate every moment of life. “Our designs are rooted in tradition but modern at the same time. Not to the extent of being futuristic however. ‘Contemporary’ is the operative word,” says Ahalya.S. Created for a generation which must seamlessly blend work and evening wear.
Highlights of the exhibition will be the new Palki series, which will be unveiled at the venue by Ahalya S. Inspired by the regal sway of the palki, or palanquin, the range has earrings, jhumkas, bracelets, necklaces, finger ring & bangles. Pearls, emeralds and diamonds are set symmetrically and it’s the mango motif that dominates this collection. It’s made in yellow gold and has been given the brushed finish.
The signature collections of Rasvihar include Leaf series inspired by the simple beauty of a leaf, Lace series inspired by ancient art of lace-making and Navratna series made in gold and the nine precious gems - diamonds, rubies, emeralds, pearls, blue sapphires, corals, yellow sapphires, cats’ eyes & garnets. Leaf series will be available in 18 carat gold with diamonds-emeralds & Lace series will be available in 18 carat gold with diamonds. All jewellery has been designed by creative head, Ahalya.S.
