Radio City Announces Search for New Rockette

For every girl who has ever aspired to become a Radio City Rockette, now may be your chance! Beginning on April 18th and running through April 25th, Rockette hopefuls can email their best dance video to jumptheline11@gmail.com to compete for a premium slot at the May 10th Radio City Rockettes open auditions taking place at Radio City Music Hall. A Radio City Choreographer will review video submissions and select the top four finalists, which will be posted on www.Rockettes.com beginning April 28th. The rest is in the hands of the public! From April 28th through May 2nd, the public will have the opportunity to visit www.Rockettes.com and vote for their favorite dancer. The dancer whose video receives the most number of votes will be selected as the "winner"and be announced at www.Rockettes.com on May 3rd.

In addition to winning the opportunity to audition with the very first group of girls allowed into Radio City on May 10th, the winner will also receive free roundtrip airfare to New York and two nights hotel accommodations May 9th and 10th.

Rockette candidates must meet the following qualifications below to participate in the contest:

· Be between 5'6" and 5'10 ½" tall

· Be proficient in tap, jazz, and ballet

· Be at least 18 years of age (by August of current year); identification with date of birth is required for winning candidate
