Daniel Radcliffe will appear on NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" (late Monday night) August 25, 12:35 a.m. - 1:35 a.m. to talk about his upcoming Broadway debut next month in the award-winning play EQUUS. Check local listings.
Radcliffe -- who makes his Broadway debut in EQUUS having performed the play to considerable acclaim last year in London -- takes to the stage having played the title role in all five of the "Harry Potter" films to date, and will star again in the sixth, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," due out July 2009. His films include "December Boys" and "Tailor of Panama." He has appeared most recently on television in "My Boy Jack," and he made a cameo appearance on stage in the West End in "The Play What I Wrote."
Daniel Radcliffe stars in EQUUS on Broadway along with
Richard Griffiths (Tony winner for "The History Boys"), with whom he appeared in last year's successful production of the play in London's West End.
EQUUS begins previews September 5 and opens September 25, 2008 on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street). EQUUS will play a strictly-limited 22-week engagement through February 8, 2009.

Peter Shaffer's play about Alan Strang, a mild-mannered stable boy who blinds six horses in his care. As psychiatrist Martin Dysart unravels the mysteries behind the boy's savage act, Dysart realizes he must confront his own demons.
