UnsungMusicalsCo. Inc. (www.UnsungMusicals.org) announces complete casting and special performances for its first annual benefit concert featuring the world premiere of Nothing is Forever, a new musical song cycle by Pulitzer Prize and Grammy Award winner Morton Gould (Stringmusic, Billion Dollar Baby) and Tony and Grammy Award nominee Carolyn Leigh (Peter Pan, Little Me, "Witchcraft"). The intimate fundraiser will be held at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia (2537 Broadway at 95th Street) on November 5 at 5:30pm and 8:30pm. Each performance will be followed by a reception at Symphony Space's Bar Thalia.

Astaire Award nominee Rachel de Benedet (Catch Me If You Can, Adrift in Macao) and Drama League nominee Kristin Maloney (The Streets of New York, The Talk of the Town) join previously announced Obie Award winner Donna Bullock (Ragtime, A Class Act) for the premiere of Nothing is Forever. The concert will also feature special performances by Max von Essen (Death Takes a Holiday, Les Miserables) and Nora Mae Lyng (Into the Woods, Cabaret, Amour), who will debut a new song from the unproduced Lee Pockriss - Carolyn Leigh musical Caesar's Wife written circa 1970!

Conceived and directed by UMC artistic director Ben West (Gatsby, How Now, Dow Jones), Nothing is Forever is a dazzling musical portrait of one woman at three different decades in her life. Romance, cynicism and regret intertwine in this evocative and timely tale set in New Orleans' vibrant French Quarter.

This new song cycle is comprised entirely of material originally written circa 1977for the unproduced musical Enter Juliet. To create Nothing is Forever, Mr. West has unearthed and reassembled Mr. Gould and Ms. Leigh's score with new musical arrangements by Fran Minarik (Making the Boys, Gatsby).

The special concert presentations will benefit UnsungMusicalsCo. Inc. Each performance will be followed by a reception for ticket holders at Symphony Space's Bar Thalia. Tickets are available through the Symphony Space Box Office at 212-864-5400 or symphonyspace.org. For more production details, visit www.UnsungMusicals.org.

UNSUNGMUSICALSCO. INC. (Ben West, Artistic Director) is a not-for-profit Production Company dedicated to the preservation of musical theatre through the restoration and presentation of obscure but artistically sound works. UMC projects include the world premiere concert of Gatsby, the New York Int'l Fringe Festival productions of How Now, Dow Jones (revised version) and Platinum (revised version) and readings of Barefoot Boy With Cheek, Arms and the Girl and The Fig Leaves Are Falling (revised version). Focusing primarily on overlooked projects from the Golden Age, UMC treats each property as a new musical thereby providing a unique collaboration between the artists of today and those of the past. UMC has also created a new initiative aimed at researching, assembling and restoring the material from unpublished and out-of-print musical shows: The Archival Project. www.UnsungMusicals.org
