Tony Award-nominee Rachel York, last seen on Broadway in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, will be featured on the hit CBS crime drama "Numb3rs" on October 20th at 10 PM (check local listings).
On tonight's episode, "Don (Rob Morrow) and his team must determine if a shooting on the freeway was a random act of violence or the work of a serial killer preying on the citizens of Los Angeles," according to the CBS website.
In addition to Morrow, "Numb3rs" also stars David Krumholtz, Judd Hirsch, Alimi Ballard, Navi Rawat, Dylan Bruno, Diane Farr and Peter MacNicol.
The show is "about an FBI agent who recruits his mathematical-genius brother to help the Bureau solve a wide range of challenging crimes in Los Angeles."
York, who most recently appeared as Christine Colgate in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, won a Drama Desk Award for her performance in Victor/Victoria. She also received Drama Desk nominations for her work in Dessa Rose and the off-Broadway Sondheim revue Putting It Together. York's other Broadway credits include Sly Fox, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Les Miserables and City of Angels, her Broadway debut. She starred in Kiss Me, Kate in London and in the national tour of the revival, as well as earning raves for her work in the recent Paper Mill Playhouse production of Ragtime. She has appeared on film in One Fine Day, Billy Bathgate, Killer Instinct and as Lucille Ball in the CBS TV movie "Lucy." "Let's Fall in Love" is her solo album debut.
