The music that ignited a generation and heats up Broadway every night in ROCK OF AGES is coming to Las Vegas, according to the show's official website. The Venetian Hotel & Casino, which recently opened their own 'Bourbon Room' (the setting of the musical), will host the show beginning in December 2012.

Set on Los Angeles' Sunset Strip, ROCK OF AGES tells the story of a boy from South Detroit and a small-town girl who fall in love and chase their dreams of making it big. The Broadway musical features songs made famous by Journey, Whitesnake, Styx and Bon Jovi, and will soon become Hollywood's biggest party when New Line Cinema releases a film version of the musical on June 15, directed by Adam Shankman and starring Tom Cruise.

The performance schedule is Mondays at 8 p.m., Tuesdays at 7 p.m., Thursdays at 8 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
