ROCK OF AGES Gets Pink for Breast Cancer Research; T-Shirt Sale on 11/6-8

The five-time Tony Award Nominated musical Rock of Ages raises a cup for a cure to raise money for breast cancer research and awareness. In partnership with the Hard Rock International's PINKTOBER campaign, a limited-edition pink version of a fan favorite Rock of Ages' t-shirt will be available for sale online for 48 hours only, from Wednesday, November 6th at 10:00AM to Friday, November 8th at 10:00AM, at visiting RockOfAgesMusicalStore.com.

The pink "Hooray for Boobies" shirt is also available for purchase at The Helen Hayes Theatre, where supporters can also get in on the action by purchasing a "Pinktoberade" specialty cocktail at the lobby bar.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each of these items will be donated to the PINKTOBER campaign. Hard Rock International'sPINKTOBER raises global awareness and funds for breast cancer research at Hard Rock locations worldwide. Now in its 14th year, Hard Rock's PINKTOBER campaign allows guests around the world to show support through live music events, limited-edition PINKTOBER merchandise and pink menu offerings. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of PINKTOBER merchandise are donated directly to local breast cancer charities.

The smash hit musical opened on Broadway on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 and played its final performance at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, January 9, 2011 before re-opening at The Helen Hayes Theatre on March 24, 2011. Now in its fifth year on Broadway, Rock of Ages continues to sell out performances at the Helen Hayes Theater, consistently making the Broadway Top 10 for capacity, average ticket price and percentage of gross potential week after week.

The music that ignited a generation is heating up Broadway in Rock of Ages. The classic rock love story of the decade erupts into Broadway's Best Party, all to the sounds of such feel-good, sing-out-loud songs as "Every Rose Has Its Thorn", "I Wanna Know What Love Is", "Here I Go Again", "Don't Stop Believin" and more.

ROCK OF AGES currently stars a "Supergroup" of performers including Kate Rockwell as "Sherrie," Aaron C. Finley as "Drew," Joey Calverias "Stacee Jaxx," Genson Blimline as "Lonny," Adam Dannheisser (Original Broadway Cast member) as "Dennis," Cody Scott Lancaster as "Franz," Josephine Rose Roberts as "Regina," Paul Schoeffler (Original Broadway Cast member) as "Hertz," and Teresa Stanley as "Justice." Rounding out the cast are Tessa Alves, Andrew Call, Cristy Candler, Tony LePage, Michael Minarik (Original Broadway Cast member),Cassie Silva, Andre Ward (Original Broadway Cast member) and Neka Zang.

In addition to being a bona fide Broadway hit musical - which in its record-breaking fourth year on Broadway celebrated its one-millionth customer, its 1500th performance, seven Box Office Records, and its spot in the Top 50 Longest-Running Broadway Shows in History - Rock of Ages is currently rocking the Garrick Theatre in London's West End; the Venetian Resort on the Las Vegas Strip; the open seas on Norwegian's newest cruise ship, The Breakaway; and the open road on its Second U.S. National Tour. Rock of Ages also hit the silver screen in 2012 as a major motion picture starring Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Furthermore, the show was a runaway success in Toronto, Australia, and its 60-city First National Tour, and has licensed productions in several additional countries, including Sweden, Korea and Japan.
