ROCK OF AGES Cast Kicks Off 'Broadway in Bryant Park' at JCPenney Today, 6/25

JCPenney has announced that the cast of Broadway's ROCK OF AGES will perform in JCPenney in order to kick off the summer's Broadway in Bryant Park Series.  The performance will take place on June 25 at the JCPenney store at 33rd Street and 6th Avenue.  The Broadway in Bryant Park season will also be announced at this time.

The Broadway in Bryant Park Series, held in Manhattan's Bryant Park, features performers from Broadway shows.  Performances are held on Thursdays in the summer from 12:30 to 1:30pm.  For more information, visit www.bryantpark.org. 

ROCK OF AGES is a Broadway musical featuring classic rock songs from the 1980s, including hits by Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Steve Perry, Poison and Asia.  The show currently stars Constantine Maroulis, who was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance.  The show was nominated for four additional Tony Awards (Best Musical, Best Direction, Best Costume Design, and Best Sound Design).
