Blunt Ensemble and the Main Street Theatre & Dance Alliance present a stripped-down 6 woman adaptation of Shakespeare's classic play. Director Rachel Matusewicz uses her all-female cast to explore the dynamics of power in the patriarchal society of Richard's England, in a play full of political machination, backstabbing and secret treasons. Where one man's ruthless ambition will bring himself and his country to the brink of destruction.
Running 90 minutes without an intermission.
7:30pm December 7th and 8th and 6pm December 9th at the Main Street Theatre & Dance Alliance, 548 Main St, Roosevelt Island, NY, 10044. Off the Roosevelt Island F stop.
