Last September, Kander and Ebb's  new musical revue First You Dream premiered at the Signature Theatre in Arlington Virginia.  Now, according to Boomberg.com, producer Jeffrey Richards is in talks to possibly bring the show to Broadway.  Richards four shows for this season include the London transfer Enron, as well as Superior Donuts, Race, ad All About Me. Richards said, "I saw it, I love it, I'm very interested in it."

The Arlington production featured such Broadway stars as Heidi Blickenstaff and Norm Lewis, however it it still unknown whether anyone will be imported to Broadway. The show features 41 songs by the songwriting duo, many in pairs or a medley style. While Act One includes lesser-known numbers such as "Flora, the Red Menace,"  from the pair's first Broadway collaboration, Act Two features such better-known standards as "Maybe This Time," "I Don't Care Much," and  "New York, New York."

Kander and Ebb were a highly successful songwriting team consisting of composer John Kander  and the late lyricist Fred Ebb. Known primarily for their stage musicals including: Cabaret, Chicago, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Curtains, and The Scottsboro Boys. Kander and Ebb also scored several movies including their most famous song, the theme song from Martin Scorsese's New York, New York. Recorded by many artists, "New York, New York" became a signature song for Frank Sinatra. The team also became associated with two actresses, Liza Minnelli and Chita Rivera, for whom they wrote a considerable amount of material for the stage, concerts and television.
