REGROUP READS Spotlight Pulitzer Prize's 100th Anniversary in 2016

The 'ReGroup Reads' series is gearing up for its second year. The free reading series, based on the best of American Theatre playwriting has already presented works by Paul Green, Tennessee Williams, Lillian Hellman, Maxwell Anderson, George S. Kaufman and more in its first year. To celebrate the Pulitzer Prize's 100th Anniversary, ReGroup will be presenting rare readings of prize winning plays such as Hell-Bent For Heaven by Hatcher Hughes, There Shall Be No Night by Robert Sherwood, The Shrike by Joseph Kramm, Miss Lulu Bett by Zona Gale, Green Pastures by Marc Connelly, and more. Founded by Allie Mulholland in 2010, The ReGroup, a 501 (C)(3) not-for-profit, has presented 11 full productions, 3 dozen free readings, and has published 3 Volumes of the Lost Group Theatre Plays which are available to purchase at Amazon.com and at the Drama Book Shop. Guest artists who have appeared in the productions include George Bartenieff, Kathleen Chalfant, Rosemary Morgan, Angelica Page, Estelle Parsons, Lois Smith, Wendy Smith, Frances Sternhagen and more. ReGroup's production of Preston Jones' A TEXAS TRILOGY was named one of the top 10 theatrical experiences of 2014 by Peter Filichia.

Currently in their 5th season, ReGroup is presenting productions of the plays of legendary agent Audrey Wood. Ms Wood discovered Tennessee Williams, Arthur Kopit, Brian Friel, Carson McCullers, William Inge and many more. ReGroup's next full production will be a series of Inge One-Acts, receiving their New York debut, this spring.

Volume 4 of The Lost Group Theatre Plays will be released the summer of 2016.
