Jazz pianist and vocalist Quintin Harris will be doing a solo set at Don't Tell Mama on Sunday, December 8th at 4pm featuring the music of Jimmy Van Heusen. The Tribute Show will be 70 minutes in length. The cover charge is $20.

Born in the Bronx and raised in Yonkers, Quintin Harris is slowly becoming a prominent vocalist and pianist in the New York City jazz scene. He is a recent graduate of William Paterson University for Jazz Performance under the tutelage of his mentor, Bill Charlap. Over the years, he has studied with Aaron Diehl, Ben Paterson, Geoffrey Keezer and is currently studying with Ted Rosenthal. Quintin has performed at Birdland Jazz Club, Minton's Playhouse, Dizzy's Club, Amangani, Chelsea Table + Stage, The Green Room 42, Jazz Forum, Jazz On Main, The Players Club, PAUSA Arthouse, Don't Tell Mama, Gotham Jazz Festival, the Barrientos Mexican American Culture Center, RiverArts Music Festival, and internationally throughout Italy. He was also a Finalist in the 2022 American Jazz Pianists Competition in Savannah, Georgia. Quintin comes from a musical family that goes back three generations on his mother's side, the Guerreros. His great-grandfather Longinos Guerrero began his career as a traveling troubadour throughout Texas in the 1930s. Quintin's parents, being classical musicians, gave him an early understanding of the deep and prolific importance that music has on our lives, immersing him in music from a very young age.
