Quinn Lemley stars as Rita Hayworth in "The Heat is On, A Life in Concert" in a special one night engagement at B.B. Kings. Lemley takes the stage, backed by an 11-piece big band, on Tuesday, July 25th at 8:00pm.

"Sultry and sexy, Quinn Lemley bears more than a passing resemblance to screen siren Rita Hayworth. She celebrates the life, loves and career of The Love Goddess; music, and the Golden Age of Hollywood; including her illustrious marriages to Orson Welles, Prince Aly Khan; her turbulent relationship with movie mogul, Harry Cohn, head of Columbia Pictures and co-stars, Frank Sinatra, Fred Astaire & Howard Hughes," state press notes on the show.

"The Heat is On..." is written and directed by Carter Inskeep (Always, Patsy Cline). Hayworth's films and life are celebrated with standards arranged by Tedd Firth and original orchestrations by Bob McDowell (Swingtime Canteen). Featured songs include: "Put The Blame on Mame," "The Lady Is A Tramp," "S'Wonderful," "Bewitched," "Amado Mio," "Long Ago & Far Away," "Zip," "I'm Old Fashioned," and "Steppin' Out."

New Yorker, Quinn Lemley, native of Columbus, IN has appeared at major theatres and clubs around the U.S. and Europe. She has also appeared on "Good Morning America", "Oprah" and "Geraldo." As an actress/vocalist, Lemley has acted on the New York stage in Israel Horovitz' Barking Sharks, Off-Broadway workshops of Rita! Hollywood Goddess and a Turkish tour of Universal Language. She has recorded 5 CD's--"Sirens," "Songs of the Silver Screen," "Cocktails With a Twist," "Dance or Die," "The Heat Is On!" and "Live! At The Half Note."
