Playwright Quiara Hudes (In the Heights) will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming Next Generation Latina event, hosted by Mastercard and Latina Magazine. The breakfast event will take place at the Affinia Hotel in NYC on November 12th and will honor 10 Latina women from around the country.
Mastercard and LATINA Magazine chose 10 women from around the country, with inspiring stories of strength, philanthropy and courage to be honored and featured in the December issue. The Next Generation Latina is a woman who embraces her Latina roots while giving back to her community in a noteworthy way. She’s a role model, a mentor, a leader, a friend, sister, boss, teacher, and somebody making a difference in the community.
The 10 honorees include: Mary Gonzalez (El Paso, Texas); Linda Escalante (Los Angeles, CA); Stephanie Bravo (San Jose, CA); Jessica Saul (New York, NY); Nurys Camargo (Boston, MA); Esmeralda Santillano (Aurora, CO); Carmen Ordonez (Miami, FL); Olga-Maria Czarkowski (New York, NY); Christina Fernandez-Morrow (Des Moines, IA); and Angelica S.
