Queens County Farm Museum Hosts Spring Celebration Today, 5/6

Participate in a one-day, spring celebration of Queens Farm at the Queens County Farm Museum, today, May 6, 2012, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Watch sheep shearing and spinning demos, learn about the Community Compost Project, visit the Con Edison Recycling booth, enjoy in-depth tours led by farmers, and pick up vegetable seedlings and flowers at our Spring Plant Sale. And be sure to visit Adriance Farmhouse, open exclusively for this event with special treats for all. There will be live music, hayrides and some of the city’s best food trucks.
