The King (John Sadowsky) and Queen (Elizabeth Higbee) finally have a child and to celebrate her birth, they hold a ball for all in the kingdom to attend however they forget to invite the evil fairy Belladona (Elisa Dugan). In retaliation Belladona casts a spell that their daughter will die on her sixteenth birthday. The three good fairies in the kingdom cast a counter spell so the princess won't die, she'll fall asleep for 100 years instead. The whole kingdom gets put down for a one-hundred -years nap and wait for either the spell to wear off, or for the princess to be rescued by a prince. Will they have to wait 100 years? Will a prince rescue them? Will Belladona let them contradict her spell? Join us to find out.
"We're so excited to have Buck (Jabaily) directing for us" says Artistic Director Jimi Kinstle, "he brings a fresh, young perspective that will give our audience a new look at a great children's classic".
