In an effort to move the theater industry toward greater inclusion both on and off stage, Musical Theatre Factory will be presenting PULL TOGETHER, a community salon that will open up the Black Lives Matter conversation. The salon aims to unpack the lack of diversity and inclusion in the industry in an honest and non-threatening way in order to change the paradigm of representation in musical theater. Michael R. Jackson is coming to Joe's Pub! Join us for a night of soulful musical theater singer-songwriter sounds wed to lyrics that are personal, humorous, and boundary-pushing.

Michael wrote book and lyrics with composer and co-bookwriter Anna Jacobs for the musical Teeth (based on the Mitchell Lichtenstein 2007 film of the same name and presented by Musical Theatre Factory), and book, music, and lyrics for the musical A Strange Loop (presented by Musical Theatre Factory). Lil Rascals Theatre Company is presenting an AEA Showcase Production of Erik Ransom's More Than All the World which first premiered at MTF as a 4x15! More Than All the World is an epic, pop-rock musical inspired by Christopher Marlowe's Edward II, which depicts the rise and fall of a controversial English King whose love for a knight brought about unrest and eventually civil war.
