Proud Ally Lauches at The Stonewall Inn, 8/24

Proud Ally Launch Party will be held at The Stonewall Inn (53 Christopher Street) on Tuesday, August 24th. Doors will open at 6:30PM and the show will be from 7 to 8PM. There is a $10 suggested donation.

The evening will be hosted by comedian and activist Maggie Champagne and will feature:

They will also be announce their first feature film endeavor; inspired by true events, "GRITS" is the story of two women from the south and their experiences with homosexuality.

Proud Ally is a new grassroots organization that promotes straight support of equal rights through visual media. Our mission is to create and collect images and video that speak for the social change we are all fighting for. We also connect allies to organizations such as MENY, GetEQUAL, Courage Campaign, etc, so that we can all join the LGBT community in collective action, in both online and offline activism.
