Princeton Triangle Club 2015 Tour AN INCONVENIENT SLEUTH to Kick Off 1/24 in NYC

Princeton's Famous Triangle Club will present its brand new original musical-comedy extravaganza, AN INCONVENIENT SLEUTH, on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at The Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College (524 West 59th Street | NYC). Performance will be at 8:00PM. Triangle Club's performance in New York City is part of a five-city tour, which includes performances in Cleveland, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Washington, D.C.

Before there was La Cage and Kinky Boots, there was TRIANGLE! Directed by Glen Pannell '87 and choreographed by Hans Kriefall '87 (Cats) this year's show, AN INCONVENIENT SLEUTH, is a whodunit musical cluesical in Triangle's finest tradition with its signature show-stopping all-male drag kickline! Welcome to SMALLTOWN, U.S.A.! A town with no locks on its doors, no doors on its mailboxes, and not a single crime in over thirty years! But what happens to a town without crime when its beloved mayor is kidnapped? Will sin win? Is vice nice? The audience will try to wrap their heads around this mystery...if they can keep from laughing them off!

For 124 years the Princeton Triangle Club has been creating professionally-produced, original student- written musicals in "The House that Triangle Built" now known as McCarter Theatre. In fact, it has the distinction of being the oldest touring collegiate musical-comedy troupe in the nation, and the only co- ed collegiate troupe that takes their show on a national tour each year. The Club boasts a rich history, and long list of alumni who have graduated to eminence in the creative arts, including F. Scott Fitzgerald '17, James Stewart '32, Jose? Ferrer '34, Wayne Rogers '56, Clark Gesner '60, Jeff Moss '63, David Kelley '79, Brooke Shields '87, Ellie Kemper '02, Wentworth Miller '95 and Molly Ephraim '08.

This year's show features Production Manager Julia Hammer '15 (Bronx, NY), a graduate of the Ethical Culture Fieldston School; cast member Katie Birenboim '16 (New York, NY), a graduate of the Horace Mann School; cast member Solveig Gold '17 (New York, NY); and cast member Abigail Jean-Baptiste '18 (New York, NY), a graduate of The Calhoun School.
