Brian Davis is an Apollo Talent Search Winner, Philadelphia Tap Idol, and Substitute Executioner for the Apollo Theater's Historic Amateur Night Competition. Brian began as a street performer with a dream, but with the support of his mother, Angela Davis, Brian earned the money he needed with nothing but a board, a bucket, and second-hand tap shoes. Tap Dancing helped pay his way through college and the University of the Arts Philadelphia where he won the Award for Outstanding performance in Tap Dancing. He went on to study from the great tap legions such as Savion Glover and Dianne Walker, and starred in "Rhythm is Our Business" at New York's 14th Street Theater.Theater Credits include, "My One and Only" Goodspeed Opera House, "Rhythm is Our Business" ATDF (NYC), "Ziegfeld Midnight Frolic" Liberty Theatre (NYC) "On Kentucky Avenue," Triad Theater New York, NYC) and Broadway's "After Midnight" on board the Norwegian Escape.

(Jackie"MOMS"Mabley) at The 36th St Theatre,NY, Do Wop Love, Accept/Except, Hurricane Season at NBT in Harlem, NY. Forgive Me At The Midtown International Theatre Festival, The Turnstyle Warrior at ATA, Hattie McDaniel What I Need You To Know...at N.B.T in Harlem.NY. Currently Working at Good Morning America (ABC-17 Years working in the Lighting Department.) James also worked at NBC Brian William: Sub /Electrician /Propman),NBC New York Live,James also worked at The World Famous Apollo Theatre, NY (Over 18 years; Lighting Designer, Stage Manager, Lighting Crew), Soap Opera: As The World Turns doing Special Effect/Lighting Dept, Also worked at BMCC, The Billie Holiday Theater for 10 Years, other places that James also worked at Town Hall in Flushing Queens as The Light Director/Designer, New Federal Theatre, and Negro Ensemble Company. James also worked on Broadway and off Bway and Tours with such plays as: Harlem Coffee Shop, Your Arms Too Short to Box with God, Smokey Joe's Café, The Boys Choir of Harlem, Mama I Want to Sing, Comin Uptown, Sophisticated Ladies. James is also a Production Manager, Executive Producer, Production Supervisor, Writer, Director, Producer, Entertainment Manager, Supervisor and a Equity Production Stage Manager.
