President Obama Will Head Back to HAMILTON for Democratic Party Fundraiser

It's been just over two months since President Obama stopped by the Richard Rodgers Theatre to catch a preview performance of Broadway's hottest show, and according to the New York Times, he'll be heading back to Hamilton soon.

The President will attend a special performance on November 2, which will raise funds for the Democratic Party. The DNC will pay for the cost of the show and sell tickets for up to $500-5000. Event organizer Margo Lion told NYT: "The founding of America seems to be an appropriate subject, and we're just thrilled that we could do this."

The new musical Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winning composerLin-Manuel Miranda, who also plays the title role. The musical is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and music direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. The winner's names will be drawn 2 hours before show time. Entrants must present photo ID, and the winners must pay with cash at the box office.
